I believe this is my very first OOTD (outfit of the day) post here on my blog! I am so excited.
The reason why I am doing this is because I was given a great honor to review a product.* I loved the look of the product and it felt great. More of my quick review on the product here!
When I first got this in the mail, I was very excited. I knew I wanted to wear it and give an example outfit to help people out. To be honest my first thought was, ‘Oh God, I don’t know how to wear this.’
It sounds weird, but it is true. If it was up to me, I would usually just pair it with jeans, and since it is cold and rainy out, wear a sweatshirt (which would defeat the purpose of the OOTD post, cause I wanted to showcase it) or I would have worn a really thick rain jacket. I had to wait for a day that wasn’t too cold, so I could just wear a jacket underneath. Eventually I decided just to wear a long sleeve underneath.
Now to the outfit itself!

Looking back, the only thing I am still not sure I like when it comes to this outfit is the shoes with the grey jeggings. I didn’t have a pair of black boots since they were destroyed last year by the snow, they were stained and it already had some hole damage in them that even though I loved them so much I had to say goodbye. I had to stick with the pair of brown boots instead. Not perfect, but hey, I am just getting started in this part.
Another thing upon learning to do my first OOTD blog post is that I need a better camera, for now I will have to stick with my boyfriends new iPhone until it is possible to get a new camera. Can I just say that it is really awkward having someone take your picture while there are other people around you staring at you? It is very awkward.

I know this sounds hipster and frankly this is one of the few times I don’t care.
I remember growing up when I would geek out about certain things I would be made fun of, but usually I would just get strange looks. If I had been walking around with this The Lion King sweatshirt on 10 years ago, I would have been laughed at and a walking target for bullies (not that I already wasn’t)
But not anymore. Geek is in, geek is cool.
While I am glad about the comeback that geeks have made, for I am able to buy more products now that I enjoy that help me embrace my geeky side, it angers me at the same time. I liked it before it was popular. I was into it before it was cool. I wore clothes from Disney before their face began appearing in forever 21, wet seal, etc. I loved Marvel and DC before hot topic began carrying their items.
I was into Geek before it was chic!
It’s just frustrating. I just get mad when people who haven’t even seen the movie or read the books wear these outfits just because its trendy. I used to be in the mentality of wanting to be trendy, but I have honestly grown out of it and while I love shopping at the mall, I have no problem shopping at the thrift store (and yes I shopped there before Macklemore made a song about it.)
I’m not expecting these individuals to know every single thing about the fandom, but I want them (and wish them) to be genuinely interested in the fandom itself, whether they are new to the fandom or they have been a diehard for years. It’s also frustrating because it feels like everyone is saying they are a geek now because it is cool, not because they are actually one. I know that I can’t interview them and quiz them, for that would just be rude, but when you ask someone wearing an avengers t shirt what they thought of the movie and they say to you they didn’t like it because they don’t like superhero movies or stories with superheros, they just like the shirt….
WHY GET THE SHIRT THAN! It’s like if I cought a shirt with a rapper on it just because he is cool, even though I don’t listen to rap. Makes so much sense.
I am a geek. I love reading, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock, Babylon 5, Merlin, bad sci fi movies, classic movies, musicals I love reading comics (Batman is my favorite from the comics, but from the movies Ironman is my favorite). I love Disney, Pokemon, Ouran High School Host Club, anime, manga, art, music, I really love everything (except sports.) I have within the past year got into Magic the Gathering, really hard, but a lot of fun.
While I am glad that it is more accepted now, it kind of ticks me off because everyone is dressing that way because it is accepted. Not because they are actually into it.
I was a geek before it was cool and I will still be a geek once it stops being cool.
So at the end of the last episode of Sherlock Season 3 we got a little surprise.
“Miss Me?”
So although we haven’t been given anything from Moffat or Gatiss about Series 4, already theories are flying around.
Some things to remember before I go into my theories:
They get ideas from the books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
And books not by him as well as long as they are related to Sherlock
As well as movie and tv show adaptations that are not related to the books
Here are some of my theories for Series 4:
It could be Moriarty, but I don’t believe it is. Yes, I know Sherlock survived the fall so it is possible that I believe it could be a brother of Moriarty. I don’t think it is Moran, because he was arrested at the end of the first episode (yes that guy is Lord Moran).
Could it be The Woman instead of Moriarty’s brother? Either way we will probably get an episode where she at least makes an appearance.
I still think Mary will die. People may not like it, but I think it is possibility. If she is to die I hate to propose this but my first thought is the she would die giving birth.
We will learn more about Mary next season. In fact her past might continue to catch up to her.
The classic London Red Bus will be involved. Moffat and Gatiss were on a bus when they mapped out Season 4 & 5. It would be cool to see them incorporate something like that.

What a series! With only 3 episode I am already sad that the Season is over but in all honesty I don’t think I could have handled any more episodes pulling at my heart strings
What I liked about Series 3:
We learned about what Mr. Hudson did for a living.
Mary was an assassin and intelligence agent of some kind.
We saw Sherlock grow as a human being.
Molly became a stronger character
John hit sherlock

All the Johnock Moments
Sherlolly- I never shipped them until this Series
John hitting people in general.
Everything about the Empty Hearse and The Sign of Three
What I didn’t like:
Many of the aspects I didn’t like actually came from the last episode His Last Vow
Mary didn’t kill CAM
John was at fault for Mary being who she is, what?
Lady Smallwood didn’t kill CAM
CAM’s death was not satisfying
For me the last episode was just not that satisfying with how it ended. I just wish that there was more. It felt like there was something missing.
Overall I give a 4 stars out of 5 for Season 3 because of the last episode
If you have read my post on fanfiction, you know I read and enjoy good fanfiction. I like everything from adventure to the fantastic, however I prefer to read fanfictions that have a little romance.
For those that are new to fanficiton and have never read it before you may or may not have heard the term “ship.” No, we are not talking the the kind that Captain Jack Sparrow commandeered, we are talking about different kind of ship.
It is common in fandoms that people will have different ships. You will usually see people combining the two characters ships like for example Draco and Hermoine from Harry Potter fans combine the two and the pairing is called Dramione.
This happens in every geeky and non geeky fandom that exisits. Usually people only ship fictional characters, however I have noticed people have started shipping real individuals. I heard this from a friend who is into One Direction that apparently they ship the band members with other band members?
And creepy. I personally don’t approve of shipping real people. I think that is just strange.
I didn’t believe her so I began to investigate the One Dieection fan sites and can I say that is weird. Not only is that creepy you are affecting their actual lives. Just stop.
It’s fun. I enjoy the idea of happy relationships, second chances, and the whole “what if” is really cool to think about. Also if I’m not happy with how a story is going so I just rewrite it or I read fanficiton that someone else has written.

The “new photographer” was not that bright. He couldn’t have done this all on his own. Did he have other people helping him?
Who was Mrs. Hudson talking to?
Why doesn’t Lestrade have someone?
I know the last question sounds weird, but think about it, Molly got someone between Sherlock’s “death” and Sherlock’s return. The writers don’t give anything willy nilly, not usually anyway. We could say the writers gave Molly some happiness, but they could have had Lestrade find someone but they didn’t. Also when Moffat and Gatiss is involved, I just don’t think so. Something else is going on.
I had a thought, but I hope I’m wrong. I hope that Molly’s guy, Tom, is not an agent of CAM’s. If he isn’t, there is something more to Tom. For one thing even though we saw through Sherlocks point of view as he was deducting Mary, we didn’t even see his point of view as he was deducting Molly. Was it that important? Maybe, maybe not. For Molly’s sake I hope Tom is just awkward and genuine guy who just happens to look like Sherlock.
So the new Sherlock Episode is up! I was analyzing Mary like crazy during this episode, although she didn’t have that many moments in the episode in comparison to the last episode.

In this episode it was John and married were getting married. At the wedding reception we hear one of the telegrams from Sherlock.
“Oodles of love and heaps of good wishes from CAM. Wish your family could have seen this.”
Look how upset and bothered she is by the telegram.
Right away we are introduced to something that supports part of my first theory from Part 1 of this blog post.
Theory 1:Mary is being Blackmailed by Charles Augustus Magnussen. For what I don’t know, but she is an victim of hims because she is being blackmailed. I have a feeling that maybe someone who is under her protection that she is a legal “Guardian” of is a risk. Also this would cover the term “Secret”
Later on we hear from her while they were planning the seating arrangement “Orphan. Lot of friends is all I have.”
Mary, I don’t think you are being honest. Let us look at an image from the first episode
It says she is an only child. We know she can lie. And who is she a guardian of?
Sher even practically admits to Sherlock that she is a Liar.
“I’m not John. I can tell when you are fibbing.”
Liars know when other people are lying.
Also can we just point to the simple fact that nothing is a coincidence and that Mycroft (Gatiss) said it himself in the episode during the mind palace scene. When I saw this scene and I saw how she played both Watson and Sherlock all I could think of was well this is just another sign.
She is truly clever and probably a little more devilish.
Now I can truly accept the theory that she is being blackmailed and it has to do something with family, clever, Guardian, and possibly her being pregnant.
Now looking over The Adventures of Charles Augustus Milverton, in the story a lady is being blackmailed because she had some indiscrete letters with another man before she met her current fiancé. In that time period that would have been considered scandalous, now in a day and age where having sex before marriage is the norm, this wouldn’t make anyone blink. I began thinking about what would people want to keep secret, especially a woman, and someone who is engaged.
Looking over all the clues here are my theoretical reasons why Mary would be blackmailed:
Blackmail reason #1: Mafia
When thinking about her I started thinking about how she knows codes, is a liar, is clever, has a family she doesn’t really talk to (she considers herself an orphan) and all of a sudden I started thinking of The Adventure of the Dancing Men. In that story a man comes to Sherlock Holmes telling him that every since these Dancing Men symbols appeared his wife has been distressed and distracted. We learn that her family was part of the mafia and she had wanted to escape that life.
If she was to have been part of the Mafia, they would probably not like her choice of husband, they would probably want her to marry a family friends son. Also if they found out if she was pregnant with John’s baby, man that would be bad.
Although I don’t believe Mary’s family could be part of the Mafia, for marrying John would expose her to the limelight that John and Sherlock are in, I do believe the code aspect to be important. We don’t know what work she has been involved before John, she could very well have been a code breaker or a profiler of some kind, (she is very good at reading people: Sherlock, Watson, Major Shotoo, etc.), probably for the government.
Blackmail Reason #2 She had worked for the government
It doesn’t have to be for the British government either. She could have been an agent of some kind for another government before she went rogue and left for London. She could very well be blackmailed because she used to work for this other government and she is trying to stay hidden. Unfortunately she married John, she probably won’t stay hidden any longer.
Speaking of the government let’s take a quick look at next episodes trailer
Look at what Mycroft said, if you go against Magnussen, you go against me. I almost wonder if Magnussen works in the government or at least has very strong ties.
But what does that have to do with Mary?
Well if Magnussen has connections to the government he could find her weakness and exploit it with greater ease. Especially if she had worked in a government (which one, I have no idea). Heck Mary could not be her real name at all. Also let’s not forget she is someones “Guardian”. It is possible that person’s life could be held against her as well.
This however presents another thought, Mycroft would know all about Mary. He knows more than he is telling. We know Mycroft is the Government, nothing happens without his knowing. And he would know all about Magnussen.
Blackmail Reason #3 She used to work for Magnussen
Whether she worked under him in the government or she was an agent of his to gain other peoples secrets she used to work for him and decided to quit. Well he would know all of her dirty secrets including this one, would you want your family and friends to know that you used to sell secrets for blackmail. I wouldn’t want them to know. So she could be blackmailed for that, although that seems a little bit of a stretch.
Blackmail reason #4 She is pregnant with someone else’s child
Although this one is a little more far fetch simply because if we look at the wedding scene and we can clearly see she is not showing. Now takeing into account every woman is different it can be 3-5 months until you are showing you are pregnant. Since she is not showing, and since Sherlock said she was showing signs (and we don’t know how long she has been showing them) she could very well have been less than a month to 2 months.
Let us examine another fact. There was a lot of time that passed between the Empty Hearse. Before we continue the Reasons for Blackmail, let us take a look at John Watson’s blor.

The first one we can attribute to a “bloody hell” moment, but the second one…
She looks panicked. Granted she could still be having a “bloody hello moment, but look at the next 3 pictures of Sherlock.
It happens so fast you have to rewatch it! I did 10 times and I still couldn’t get that flash of deduction in the image. But you can tell he deducted something and like before he kept quiet about “Liar” and “Only child”, he kept quiet about this too.

We don’t know how Mary met John, but she is marrying a Doctor. She could truly love John, but may have originally gone after him because she is running out of money. We know nothing of her finances
Method of Payment #2 Secrets about John and Sherlock
Magnussen being somehow connected with the government could have known that Sherlock was still alive and had Mary get close to John in order to get close to Sherlock.
Method of Payment #3 Both
It could have originally been the first one and it grew to include the second one.

I began coming up with alternate endings for my favorite characters from TV shows every since I started watching Babylon 5. It was only when I began reading Harry Potter I heard a strange word around the internet, fanfiction. Once I discovered this concept, I thought it was beautiful and wonderful. I have been hooked since.
Over the years I have expanded what kind of fanfiction I read. It keeps growing every time I join a new fandom. I will post the fanfiction stories I like to read. This past year I joined tumblr (follow me) and well I have found so many more stories as a result.
Over the years I have also heard people laugh and make fun of the idea of fanfiction. I have heard many people criticize the concept, the people who write it, and the people who read it.
Arguements people who hate fanfiction use:
Most of it is awful. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, plot, etc. It just all sucks.
It’s not Canon.
Some of it is really weird. Incest, gay, pedophile, polygamy. What is wrong with these people?
They aren’t being creative. They are already writing about a world that already exists. Why can’t they write something original. They are almost stealing.
Yeah there is a lot of bad fanficiton out there. I know, I have read it. Guess what though, there are also a lot of bad books out there. Finding good fanfiction stories is harder than finding a good book in the store simply because it is easier to publish fanfiction than a book. Although how some books get published I don’t know. Like 50 Shades of Grey (and yes I know it originated as fanfiction)
-Yes, they are using another persons world, but unless they are making money off of it, you can’t really complain. (50 Shades of Grey is so far the only exception I could find.)
-Also what is wrong with wanting to expand on that world. George Lucas allowed it, he had people publish Star Wars books for years and made money off of it.
-They could probably write something original, but maybe they are doing this for FUN!
Seriously though some people enjoy writing for fun and maybe they want to write about Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and even Twilight (hopefully they will do a better job than Stephenie Meyer and E.L. James cause Twilight and the Twilight rip off was just horrible). There is nothing wrong with them writing about it, they aren’t hurting anyone. And you don’t have to read it.
I agree with some of this. I am against and don’t like reading fanfiction that encourages and glorifies pedophile and incest. I don’t like it and I find it weird myself. If things like this happened in real life these people would be told to seek help and or be arrested. But you have an issue with fanfiction with gay couples?
I wanted to say how amazed and hurt I was by the last statement. Seriously what is wrong with being enthusiastic about something as long you are not hurting yourself and others? What about Math geeks? Science geeks? Are they depressing?”But that is different,” you will say, “there is something worthwhile in science, math, etc.” You are right there is, at the same time though for some people, they enjoy reading stories about one world. For them it is worthwhile. They want to explore that world like archaeologists explore civilizations. To you it may be obsessed but there are worse obsessions out there to have and they aren’t hurting you.Why this hate towards people who are carefree, enthusiastic, and enjoy life? Is it because you are unable to do this yourself? We usually hate that which we cannot understand. Do you have trouble being carefree and enthusiastic?Honestly though how rude, inconsiderate, and unkind of you sir. You don’t know every single person that reads and or writes fanfiction. You appear to be very judgmental and unhappy individual if yourself.
Why I love Fanfiction:
I love stories.
I love reading.
I love the ideas people come up with.
I can deny that a character has died. Like Dobby and Fred Weasley.
If I am upset that a character ended up in a relationship with another I can just go to fanfiction and tada! They are in a better relationship. I will post more about ships and my OTP’s later.
Despite all the bad ones, I have found some real gems and I enjoy them.
I love the different back stories given to some of my favorite characters.People are being creative and they are writing. It may be terrible, but at least they are writing!
The Story never has to end, I can read the original story and go back and save my favorite fanfiction.

I mentioned in the TV Show review on the first Sherlock episode that I have a couple of theories on Mary Morstan. They began to develop after I first saw the end of the episode with and I saw a screen shot of Sherlocks deductions of Mary.
All the words that stood out to me were the ones that are circled in red.
Guardian
Disillusioned
Clever
Secret
Liar
Now right away, yes secret tattoo can be the phrase, but the fact that the rest of the time secret isn’t near tattoo leads me to believe there is more to Mary than meets the eye. These phrases made me reanalyze everything about the series.
I first watched Sherlocks reaction to these deductions.
Between Sherlock’s reaction and his lack of saying anything to her (granted she did just promise to talk to John, but work with me here) I had to look over the whole episode.
All the actions that make me wonder who is Mary Morstan:
Mary is not immediately angry or upset at Sherlock. If the man I loved a great deal who had been suffering from the loss of his best friend all of a sudden is confronted by that friend who is “Not Dead” I would have been shocked but I wouldn’t have laughed it off like Mary did.
When Sherlock mentions the fact that Mycroft knew, John was about to get angry and Mary said that Sherlock needed a confidant.
Mary lied about liking the mustache.
Mary is not mad at Sherlock for John, in fact she is understanding of Sherlock.
She says to him, “You know nothing about Human Nature.” She probaby has a great idea about human nature herself. She is a nurse and nurses need to understand people since they deal with them.
She teases John for shaving the mustache for Sherlock.
She is taking all of this very well. Granted she wasn’t friends from the guy, but she heard all about it from John.
Mary left John’s office to go somewhere? Where did she go to?
The texts Mary receives from an “Anonymous” person. Why did Mary receive these texts? If this person was going through John to get through Sherlock why would he go through the trouble of texting Mary? Seriously if this person was somehow smart to get Mary’s number he could surely get Sherlock’s number.
Mary said it was a skip code. Mary knows codes! There is more to Mary for sure.
Also there is the matter of the person texting knowing Sherlock was reading the phone. How did the person who had just texted Mary know he was talking to the Sherlock Holmes? Why go through all that trouble and not just text the very person you are wanting to hurt?

What did Mary do before she met John?
How did she meet John?
What is the relevance of Gaurdian?
What is Mary lying about?
Why was she not upset at Sherlock?
Why did they go after John?
Why contact Mary and Not Sherlock?
What happened between Mary getting the texts and meeting up with Sherlock?
Where did Mary go after she left the office?

***The guy at the end of the Episode is Charles Augustus Magnussen and we will being seeing more of him in the next episode, but we wont see all of his face until the last episode.
My Three Theories About Mary Morstan:
Mary is being Blackmailed by Charles Augustus Magnussen. For what I don’t know, but she is an innocent victim of hims because she is being blackmailed. Mary is a former agent of Magnussen and maybe she became the Guardian of someone. As a result her life is a risk and everyone around her is at risk as well. The person who texted her is Magnussen. For Mary to have been an agent of Magnussen she would have to be “clever” and she is very perceptive when it comes to human nature. A agent would have to be.
Mary is still an agent for Charles Augustus Magnussen. Now if she planned on blackmailing John, but than developed feelings where she tries to break away that could be something. Either that or this is all going according to plan. I mean she did tell Sherlock it was a Skip Code.
My Christmas was amazing! I didn’t get a lot of sleep the night before because I was working on my dad’s gift. I will tell you all about dad’s gift here.
I had a great Christmas and not because I got awesome gifts. No it was just nice to be home after my first semester at UT. Thanks to my brillant idea to send the link to my pinterest board of things I want it helped with their Christmas shopping, so I did get a lot of awesome gifts.

After we opened presents we relaxed for a few hours until the stuffing war commenced. Every year around Thanksgiving and Christmas my father and I battle it out to see who will get the first bite of stuffing. This Christmas I won! I was very happy.
Soon after the stuffing war was over we had dinner. It was excellent.
From back left to right, like you are reading a book -In the far back on the left is a cheesy cheesy broccoli casserole ( really delicious), homemade apple pie right next to it, cranberry and mandarin oranges, rolls, pepper cabbage (its northern thing), regular cranberry in the weird turkey class container, sweet potatoes, turkey in the center of the table, green beans, cole slaw, gravy, and at the corner of the photo stuffing!!!!!
It was a wonderful Christmas. I can’t believe it’s already over. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
